Camping at the Smithsonian Conservation Biology Institute
Camping at the Smithsonian Conservation Biology Institute
We were very lucky to be able to camp at the Smithsonian Conservation Biology Institute in Front Royal, Virginia. We toured an endocrine lab and were able to visit some of the animals at this amazing facility.

A happy white naped crane
IMGP3351.jpg
This crane was reared by humans and doesn't get along with other cranes beacuse it apparently believes it is human, rather than a bird. Adorable but a little sad.
