Giselle, Thomas, & Anna enjoying the garden at Sanzen-in. It was interesting as Americans to be able to sit so close to such ancient and holy sites as we saw at temples in Japan. In the States a garden like this would have a lot more ropes around it--because people would actually run in and disturb things. And we're paranoid too.
