A view of the Gosho from one of the interior gates. Although it is
quite a grand palace, its design is quite old. The emperor never stays here
anymore because the palace does not have indoor plumbing and is quite drafty. Apparently
it hasn't been officially used for much more than coronations in nearly a century.
